DCA construction...

When is it scheduled to be done? Any clue? I felt soo lost there this time!

Walt himself said "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."... I'm sure the same holds true for DCA! That being said, the big stuff going on right now like Carsland should be done around Summer 2012!

Most of what is being done right now, will be done this summer. All the walls on paradise pier are going to come down.

While from the wharf to Hollywood Blvd those walls will be there through this summer all the way to next summer.

Next fall the whole entrance area will be redone.

A year from now it going to look much better than it does now.

HAHA And I love that. But I think there is a lot going on right now. I'm excited to see Carland.. although I doupt DD will be. She doesn't like that movie at all. But maybe by our holiday trip in 2012 that will change.

they have already started to put up the iron work for the new front! i saw it the other day.. and i have a photo so as soon as i get a chance i will post it somewhere!

Oh, I am thrilled!!! Thats one of the reasons we are going this year......But I LOVE thrill rides

I hear ya! I love Screaming, always have to do it solo though! Atleast they have single rider line! I'm still bummed about Boomer!

It's not a puke shield..... It is a scream shield! The neighbors were complaining about screams from that ride... NOT macaroni and cheese chuncks!

That because TOT the people are facing DCA when they are screaming... they don't face out towards Harbor/Katella... Here are the screams shields on California Screaming which blocks the screams from heading towards Disneyland Drive:

I could hear the screams as I was walking up to DLR on Harbor lol....

ToT doesn't face outside of DLR. It is also mostly contained in the buidling. Also there is nobody standing in a que below the riders.

On Screemin I think they are far less for noise control and far more to obscure the view out to Anaheim and redirect your view toward the parks.

i knew it was not a puke shield! i knew exactly why they had it and why parts of CS are covered!
