Hi all! The Orange County edition of the Times had a GREAT pullout of the Calendar section today with a huge map of DCA and a few articles. Although this link doesn't have the map, it at least gives you the main article! :)

Great link Michelle, that is the best narrative of the park I have read yet, looks like we have a lot of fun ahead.

Thanks for the link.

Now, I have a really strange question that bugs me everytime I read about the new California Adventure. I understand that Disney didn't have much real estate to work with in Calif so they used the "old" parking lot for Disneyland and built the new California Adventure on the "old" parking lot.

So....where did they find land for a new parking lot? Of course, they are going to have even more vehicles to park now with the new park and Downtown Disney open. They have to still have a parking lot somewhere!!!

They have a monstrous, similar to Universal's in Florida, parking stucture a couple blocks away.

They also have another large parcel next to DL hotel for a 3rd park.

DLand has always had parking lot trams. So now you just have to ride it from further away. It was a system that worked before - no reason it won't continue. (For those folks who've never been to DLand - it is set up sooo different from WDW. DLand is in the city of Anaheim; when you're in any of the parks at WDW, all you can see is WDW!)

Thanks for this link. I printed off the "print version" of the article for my DH, who doesn't do the computer thing. It was very detailed and will surely get him as excited about our March trip as I am!
