Is the dolphin interaction the only place where one has their picture taken? Or are there other photographers set up around the park to take additional photos? Lastly, during the dolphin interaction do they basically get 1 of you posing with the dolphin and one of you kissing it (what I'm getting at is about how many pictures are there on the CD)?

TIA!!!:goodvibes

We have seen park photographers in the lazy river (taking pics of people underwater with the sunken treasure chest, as well as by the waterfall at the entrance to the aviary), in the Freshwater Oasis, and in the aviary. In fact, two of my favourite pics from our DC days have been the ones taken the Freshwater Oasis and the lazy river (but we love those dolphin photos, too!).

For the dolphin swim portion, we had "formal" pics posing with the dolphin (DH alone, DS alone, me alone, DH & I together, and DH, DS & I all together), each of us kissing the dolphin, and several of each of us having our "swim" with the dolphin. Usually there were multiple shots of each pose. I think, for our family of 3, we had about 40 pictures from the dolphin swim portion of our day, plus several others from throughout the park.

Don't forget you also get a 6 x 8 family photo as part of your admission, which is taken by park photographers as you arrive (just after you check in).

They take a lot of pictures during the dolphin interaction. They also take a family picture with the dolphin. and they were letting family members not participating in the interaction to get in the water just for that photo. All the times we've been (including earlier this month) they also had photographers at the great reef and in the lazy river. You have to find them (they have the blue on their wet suits) and ask them to take your picture, but they always do.

You can also use your own camera anywhere except in the dolphin area. We have a waterproof camera and it took great pictures.

Maybe a stupid question, but how do they put your photos from other times during the day onto your CD?

Do you have a card with a code that the photographer scans like Disney photopass?

I'm actually thinking about not bringing our camera (at least in the water), so I would love to be able to get some photos taken throughout the day.

Last time DD took the camera in a pool we had some water leakage. It didn't damage anything, but we had to wait a few days for the water/fog to clear out of the lens. We are leaving Thurs and I have not had the chance to buy another waterproof camera.

I think they used your ID that you get when checking in.

Can family members take photos while other members are with the dolphins. I have heard the photo package is very expensive. Only half our family will eb doing the dolphin swim, 1 adult and 3 kids whilst the other 3 adults just watch. Are we able to film them?

Yes. Both times we did the dolphin interaction there were family members from other groups on the shore taking pictures. You can't go in the water, but you can get pretty close and take pictures from there.

The photographers will take a quick photo of one of your ID's, since everyone in your reservation is linked to the same account all photos taken by staff photographers will appear on the CD.

Went in May of last year, bought the "cheapest" package that came with the CD since there were too many great shots from the entire day! It was way more than I wanted to spend at the time, glad DW talked me into it since the photos are priceless.
