Hi :)

Has anyone been in November before?

I went to DC on my honeymoon in Dec 2008 and it was glorious weather perfect for snorkelling. This time though I am really anxious! What if its a cold day? Has anyone ever been and found it too cold to enjoy it?

Maybe I'm worrying over nothing! :confused3

Our first visit was New Years Day 2012. We had the same fears.

Turned out the day was glorious and we had nothing to worry about. The chill of the early morning was minimized by the use of the wetsuits (they really do help keep you warm) and the large stand-up heaters that were stationed near the restaurant. Add that to the fact that some of the water features (specifically the lazy river and the Freshwater Oasis) are bathwater warm and there are lots of places to keep comfy!

I wouldn't hesitate to book in January again. I would think November would be even less variable for temperatures.

Our next trip is in August, and we're super worried about thunderstorms and heavy rain. I think, no matter when you go, you tend to worry about something because its not a cheap day out and you always want it to be perfect :) .

We went in November and it was no problem at all. We swam and snorkeled most of the day and were never cold. I do think that the wetsuits helped. And, we did have warm weather. Not sure where you are from but we are from Massachusetts so a "cold" day in FL felt very warm to us!!
