DC check in time and Flamingo Mingle

We are headed to Discovery Cove this summer. We bought the package for the dolphin swim and added on the flamingo mingle (this starts at 8:00).
What time does Discovery Cove open to begin the check in process? Also for anyone who has done the flamingo experience, are there photographers there?

We have the Flamingo Mingle booked for our early September trip, and the tour description notes that there is a photographer present:

As for timing, I'm wondering that too. I'm thinking it might be imperative to arrive by 7:30 am at the latest, because you will have to get checked in and fitted for a wetsuit in time for the 8 am start. I'm thinking we might plan to arrive by 7 so we're not feeling pushed at all for time.

I think you want to aim to be there by 7:15 at the latest. The line to check in starts growing right at 7:30.

I actually emailed Discovery Cove to inquire about the photos, and here is their reply:

The photos from Flamingo Mingle are available on a CD for $40 + tax.

We've seen people line up as early as 6:45am. I believe the official check in time/doors open at 7am.
