I had considered renewing my membership to AAA just for our trip(s) to WDW area. I wonder if it is worth it, though. I have found tix online cheaper than AAA members get. What are the other benefits to AAA? I never used it when I was member but now my renewal period is running out. We leave on 2/28.
I also considered joining the Disney Club. I know I will not have the membership card before we left, but could I still use a printout from joining online for the discounts and such?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Penny, me again!! If you are driving, AAA or some other roadside assistance program is a must in my opinion.

AAA is great - ticket discounts, Diamond parking lot for MK & Epcot (close enough not to need a tram), roadside assistance. They have a location on site. I can't be without it because I've locked myself out of my car more times than I care to admit!

DC doesn't seem that great so far. 10% discount at the Disney store, but if you've got time, go to the Belz outlet character stores instead - fantastic bargains!

Have a great trip! :)

I agree that AAA is more cost effective than DC. The discounts on park hoppers are about the same but with AAA you get roadside service and other benefits like free travelers checks, etc. :)

They used to give you a pass good for a special lot at Epcot,MGM & Mk. It gets you up very close to the parks. You still pay the regular parking fee.

It's really great, but we do go early. i don't know if they fill up. One time we weren't paying attention to the ticket attendant's directions & missed the entrance but it was soooo early that we got just as good a spot in the regular lot!
