daytona beach

hi all,
has anyone been to daytona beach? is it a nice area? is it worth going to see on our vacation(we love motor racing if that helps)

if it is worth going to how long would it take to drive from i-drive?

Hi,
It took us around 45-1 hour to get to Daytona from Quality Inn Plaza.
Its a nice beach, if you like car's you will enjoy seeing the car's crusing along the beach, it's cleanish, We went 2 times on our previous holiday!....HTH
