Daytona Beach Budget Hotel

Does anyone have any budget freindly recommendations for the Daytona Beach area? We are planning a couple nights here in July, and would prefer to stay close to the beach if possible. But more important is cleanliness! Any suggestions?

We like sun Viking lodge. They have a website if you google the name it will come up. It is right on the beach, has two pools, a slide, and alot of family activites. Hope that helps!!

I like Perry's Ocean Edge, it is beautiful and I can't resist the freshly made doughnuts in the morning. But it isn't very budget that time of year, but they have a motel next door that they bought called Perry's White Caps. It's still on the beach and you get to use everything at Perry's. If you go to the website there is a link to it. I have not stayed there, but it looks nice on the website and the use of Perry's would be great. Seems affordable too. There are little cabins too that look nice.

We go there often and actually got married there at Bike Week! The best hotels are on the north side of International Speedway Blvd and on the beach side. Don't pick any on the opposite side from the beach. I didn't know these things the first time we went. Boy did we get an awful place to stay! I was awake all night scared to death of what might be crawling on me!!

Also, most of the hotels by the race track are fine too. You might get a better deal in that area and just drive a couple miles to the beach. I don't usually mind that drive though since I have to go by the Krispy Kreme to get back to the room!

We stayed at a Hampton Inn a few years ago. It was very clean, right on the beach, affordable, and offered a nice breakfast.

Wherever you end up, have a wonderful trip!

Okay, that's what I was really afraid of Shmily1! THANKS! I have searched and searched and searched and this is some of the comments I've seen on some properties on trip advisor. DH also suggested maybe we should look by the speedway, it's not that far of a drive.

Our youth group from church stayed at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites on Daytona Beach in 2008. Everyone said it was nice and right on the beach.

Just so you're informed, the first week of July, 7/1 - 7/3, is the NASCAR race at the track, I wouldn't expect too many rooms available or at reasonable rates.

Daytona is a madhouse during race weeks!!!

We have stayed at the LaQuinta on the beach and really liked it - we did NOT like the LaQuinta near the racetrack -smelled like smoke!

The Sea Dip Beach Resort, it is suprisingly affordable!!!

We're planning on staying July 9-11, so we should be on the tail end of the race week visitors! Hopefully! lol...

Bahama House was very nice- clean/balcony/kitchen area in room/pool/hot tub and right on the beach. Free breakfast daily and free cocktails nightly.
