No, they are random. They Frozen one has a large float and sometimes there are floats with the Mickey and Friends cavalcade. They are a couple floats from the old daytime parade themed around music. It's a huge Mickey playing a drum float.
Why I think Disneyland is not planning to have daytime parades anymore is to save money and time so that they can focus on night time entertainment and parades because when you look at it people were so impressed with Disneyland's daytime cavalcades during the park's reopening that they decided to keep having them because they are cheaper to create and put together than a parade. Because when you look at it I think Disneyland spends so much money on parades that they're considered the most expensive entertainment for Disneyland. Because when you look at it you have float designers assembling floats casting calls for singers dancers character actors costume designers marching bands to audition for the parades and so much more and when it's all put together you can bet it costs a huge amount of money for Disneyland to have a successful daytime parade. And when people see Disneyland daytime parades or any other parades when they visit they think the parades are like Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade minus the balloons. But if Disneyland brings back daytime parades two ideas that would work well would be these parades and the first one would be called Disney Princess Magical Dreams Parade and it would feature the princesses on their own floats shaped like storybooks and the storybooks would pop open and a princess would say "Hi I'm Snow White this is my story" and then she would sing a cute song and it would be a medley until the next float with a princess would appear and the next princess would say "Hi I'm Tiana" and the same speech as Snow White and then Tiana would sing the next part of the medley and so on and it would be a cute parade. The second parade idea would be one called Disney's Salute To Heroes and it would feature Aladdin Peter Pan Hercules Gaston and a host of other Disney heroes as they share heroic moments from movies on special floats accompanied by a wonderful medley of songs and believe me these daytime parades would be a huge hit for Disneyland if they decide to make them someday
No…. They introduced a lovely daytime parade we saw once right before the shutdown…. I personally think it’s a staffing issue as to why they haven’t brought it back. Hopefully we’ll see it in the spring after the holidays.
