Daytime Emmy Awards

Is anyone else watching the Daytime Emmy Awards? I wanted to watch it just because Wayne Brady is hosting!

I am watching and rooting for my Soap, General Hospital. Vanessa Marcil already won. I was hoping that Robin Chirstopher would win, I really like her.

I love Wayne Brady. He is doing a great job so far!

Did you watch the Pre-show on SoapNet? I thought walt Willey (SP?) did a good job, but Finola Hughs was not that good. Wish They showed more people and what they were wearing.

I'm not watching because I'm pretty sure my shows, Days and Passions, won't win jack diddlely squat.

I didn't know about that. I'm a CBS soap fan, even though I never get to watch them.

I am SO thrilled that Jordi Vilasuso won for best young actor. He so deserved it. Even though I like Maurice Bernard, I was very disappointed that Ricky Paull Goldin didn't win best actor for his portrayal of Gus. Gus is such a deep multi dimentional character and Ricky Paull is just awesome playing him. Hopefully, next year will be Ricky Paull's year!

Oh, btw, I am a diehard GL fan~!

I taped and watched because I love Wayne Brady and was thrilled with his wins. Although I often enjoy Dr. Phil, his ego is getting too big and he needed to lose!

The rest was a snore and the almost total lack of Days/Passions representation was just sad. Would have loved hearing Nadia Bjorlin and Lindsay Korman perform--they can really sing, unlike some of those who were given a microphone.
