Is Kayla a doctor? I think I remember her saying something about having a patient on yesterday's show. I didn't remember her being a doctor, but I hope she is, Lexie could sure use the help!!

OK I guess the rumor that Belle will be the surrogate for Mimi/Shawn is coming to fruition, I may be done for the summer, especially if Chelsea doesn't get caught soon.

Kayla mentioned being a busy doctor when she was talking on the phone with Caroline, that she couldn't come back to Salem because of her work. (She needs to check with Lexie, who specializes in everything how to juggle her life) Sure will be nice for those in Salem to have a choice of Dr.'s when Kayla returns. She must have pursued that career, because she was just a nurse when last seen.

I'm hoping for more flashbacks of Patch & Kayla, they were once my favorite couple on the show, when they first met, and how she fell for him, but he wouldn't admit how he felt for her because of his past. I'd forgotten him calling her "sweetness" til I read it on his blog. I'm hoping they don't drag the reunion out for too long, I want them together!! Of course, it won't be an easy road they travel...the writers will see to that.

Any long ago watchers remember when Patch first came on the show? and how he met Kayla? all the intrigue storylines back then were SO much better. I remember how hard she tried to get him to admit how he felt. Frankie and Max were young then and just with the Brady's, yep, was just a better show back then.

And where is the daughter Stephanie? (wasn't that her name?) Kayla just took off today to head to Salem.

Kayla told her mom she just couldn't pull her out of all her activities and go to Salem - I guess she will make up some excuse that she left her with a friend for the week - since she will be in Salem a little longer - I guess she will send for her

I read in Soap Opera Digest that they have cast Stephanie and she will appear in July. I'm still behind, so I haven't even seen the episodes with Steve and Kayla yet! I was just not motivated to keep up there for a while.

Sorry I made a mistake earlier about Belle been a surrogate read that somewhere else I think not TV Guide they just said that they were looking for a surrogate.

Today on mine they interviewed one, she is really weird one even Mimi looked funny about her and then another scene they run out and say they picked her. She looks like one that would keep a baby or something. Have to wait and see.

Jack of course convince Steve to come back. I wouldn't doubt it will be at Jen and Frankie's wedding.

I really enjoy this thread, so I hate to complain about any of the postings, but here goes:

Could those of you who see DOOL a day earlier than the rest of us please NOT tell us what's going to happen? Its like going to a movie and someone tells you then ending just as you take your seat. I really love discussing the show here and wondering what might happen, but I really don't want to read what DID happen before I get a chance to watch it myself.

I just read on Justin's site that JER (Jim Reilly) has been replaced as the head writer by Hogan Sheffer. I think that is good news. We should (hopefully) start seeing better story lines soon!

ok, the next time I need test results quickly I'm going to the hospital in Salem. Belle and Phil just walk into the hospital and five minutes later they have test results, Lexie must have had a spare minute to run them.

No problem for me if you are seeing and posting it a day earlier......it isn't that suspenseful any more, they show "previews" that tells what is up anyway. I'm seldom "surprised" by anything they show. It's out there in all the magazines too what is coming or in TV Guide. I am curious though, what part of where are you that gets the show a day in advance? There is a site online that has the next day's show all posted also, I'm sure many visit Beth's Days Page.

I am in Ont. Canada but get the feed from the Newfoundland channel on satilite. It comes on at noon. So your Friday show is really your Monday show. I knew what you mean about preview for the next day. I read about what is about to happen in the TV guide next week that happen on the show today so they are behind too.
