What was with the Midol commerical in the middle of the show on Friday? It seemed really ackward, Stephanie pulls the box out of her purse in the pub! Then they discuss what a wonder drug it is!

I thought the Midol spot was weird too. Almost made me wonder if they'd cut to a commercial with actresses from the show. Maybe money is so short that they're having to resort to product placement?

I'm anxious to figure out the Kate/Daniel thing and also what is going on with Nicole. They have my interest, now lets see if the storylines hold any promise.

I'm thinking that sleezeball Trent had something to do with Nicoles past when she was forced to do porn or whatever...could be wrong, but she clearly is scared of him

They sure made Cierra a tad older quickly too didn't they? guess they didn't want Bo & Hope to have to stay home with a baby

I'm not sure how I feel about little Theo being diagnosed as autistic, guess it will make for a good storyline, but geez, Abe & Lexie have been through a lot lately, now this.

My mom read in soap opera digest that Trent will be killed and there will be a whodunit story line. Looks like Max will be a suspect along with Nicole and anyone trying to protect either of them.

That's what I thought would happen. Because Nicole wanted protection over money and Max is mad all the time. Or even poor Stephanie because she is in love with Max. Maybe he will try something with her and it will be self defense

You never know...they could throw Caroline in there as a suspect too. Protecting the whole family thing and really what storyline has she had lately.

I just can't believe noone else knows about Daniel and Kate?!?!?! How can that be? She has 2 sons and a daughter, and what about Victor. I can't wait to see why the whole thing turned out so nasty.

Holy cow, what a day! A newly-found (to me) DOOL thread AND some new (to me lol) scoops all in a matter of seconds

The baby just woke up but you better believe I'll be back and reading it all--something to help me feel better that the mail lady can't seem to deliver my soap opera digest regularly......wonder if she's reading it?

The storyline is moving away from Lexie being the other woman to it now being Kate...is that what you meant?

Still say this came on pretty fast. Wouldn't Kate have reacted to him when he first came to town.

I hope they write Sami's pregnancy in this time last time she hide behind things.

I guess I never took the scenes as it being some romantic involvement, but DH has a bad habit of talking some nights (I DVR it and watch it after the kids go to bed) asking back-story questions so sometimes I miss things. But I don't like the Daniel/Chelsea story line anyway--and she wore ruffles on her dress to dinner! Are they trying to make her look even younger?

I kind of like the hidden-pregnancies. Then you can watch for oops's-like there was a shot of Sami in a wedding dress last time where they forgot to cover her belly.

As for the midol-scene..ugh. And Bo is about to give Hope a new wedding ring, right? Will it be from JCPenney or Zales?

Me too!! My Soap Opera Digest normally comes on Friday or Saturday, except here I am on Thursday still waiting for the one I should have gotten at the end of last week. This happens to me every now and again. One time I got 2 in 1 day! I'm glad to know it is not just me.....and welcome to the DOOL thread!!!

Oh yeah, maybe my mail man is reading mine! I'm sure there are some guys who are into soaps!!!

I actually got the right one yesterday-right on time! Monday I received the issue from 2 weeks ago, and I never did receive last weeks. SOD claims that they are sent in batches, and that no one else in my batch has problems. I have not renewed due to the problems

And DH is one of those closet watchers--after a trip to Disney in 2004 I spent a couple days catching up and he accidentally got himself hooked! He's heard some of his male employees discussing the soap, too (can you think of any other reason to be discussing EJ and Sami?) but he doesn't dare join in

That's right, last weeks and this weeks Soap Opera Digest! I don't know why
