Has anyone stayed in this hotel? I have searched the boards and have found nothing :(.

We will be going for a few days at the end of august and are trying to keep it as cheap as possible (there are just two adults this trip).

I have found that the Days Inn Anaheim and Anaheim Plaza Hotel are the same price for 4 nights. So which one should we go for, we want to book on monday.

Thanks!

My wife and i and our three daughters stayed at the days inn on south harbor blvd last month. It was nothing special but was definitely the cheapest we found. They had a good continental breakfast and it was about a 2 minute drive to the mickey and friends parking structure. We will be going back and staying there again next week.

We have stayed at the DI & S a few times over the past 4 years.

We love that the hotel is "almost" directly across from the park entrance. We can walk back to the room whenever we need to .. there is an IHOP on one side ... a Denny's on the other side. The rooms are very basic ... but at that price, it's ok ... but have always been VERY clean. They do have a continental breakfast ... ok for us ... but most seem to find it a joke. They had toast, apples, packaged Danish, milk, orange juice. The room is extremely tiny, so we just get ours and take it back to the room. There is a fireworks viewing area at the top of the hotel that we have used ... it was an easy way to watch, after a busy day.

We have reservations for this December .... we can't wait.

You might want to try tripadvisor.com for reviews ... there are a lot of reviews there.

Sorry ... I just saw that you wanted Days Inn ... not Desert Inn!! You might still want to try tripadvisor.com to see if they have reviews there for you to read.

we stayed there in 2008 and found it was worth the money basic breaky, clean room semi comfy beds well enough for after all day at the parks.......

This is the hotel we stay at on most trips. It is always so much cheaper than the hotels "accross the street" and only a 15 min walk to the parks. We have never had any issues, the room is always clean. The "free" breakfast is always a plus. We were even able to add a day when our car had to get fixed on our trip, and even store our luggage in the office on our last day until the car was finished. Will stay here again.

We are trying Dessert Inn & Suites this time because we are going with my mom, who wants to be "right accross the street."

we stayed at Comfort Inn Main gate last week. $64/night for a K room. microwave in the room and a coffee pot. the breakfast includes waffles, donuts, sausage, egg rounds( to make a sandwich with using the croissants) as well as the usual cereal, and fruit. it sells the ART shuttle tickets( $4/day unlimited rides) and the stop is 2 doors down in front of the Ramada. the shuttle starts at 8 am and runs every 20 minutes ish until 30 minutes after latest park closing. it was maybe a 15 minute ride although it does make one or two stops past that one before turning around and heading the other way down the street.

Healthy adults with an excess of energy( or caffeine) could probably walk it in under 30 minutes. I rode the shuttle heheheh. Never waited more than 10 minutes either direction and it was never Standing room Only.

the hotel also sells tickets and I guess at at least a small discount. we bought ours on site cuz we are eligible for the Military special.

we used them on previous trips and were always satisfied.
