Days Hotel Disney Maingate

has anyone recently stayed here. On tripadvisor it says it used to be a Holiday Inn, the latest reviews since the take over by Legacy Grand seem ok. Just wondering if anyone who has stayed here could give me some input. Since our next trip is just a quick one for 2 nights we're just wanting somewhere comfortable and affordable. Any feedback would be appreciated!

IMHO all of the Days inn in the Orlando area are subpar/would not stay there. Check into the Comfort Suites Maingate EAST or hotels in the Marriott village (lake bryan) Lake Buena Vista area.


Have you checked discount sites like travelzoo for deals on better hotels?

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into this travelzoo, but alot of places like this can't beat military rates, but worth a try!

All of the Choice Hotels, marriotts and Holiday Inns in the Orlando area have the government/military rate options. Also if you are military have you looked into the armed forces vacation club website? You can get a condo for aroun $329 including taxes for the week. I much prefer that to hotels most of the time. Or Shades of Green at Disney?

Search on the Space A link. You could easily end up with a two bedroom condo at a nice resort.

I appreciate this info, usually for my DH's rank we can't get a good Shades of Green rate, we can always get somewhere else cheaper. Though I would like to try it one day!
I will keep the other in mind when we do a full week vacation, right now we may only stay one, possibly 2 nights, that's why we're just trying to find somewhere decently priced and clean!
