Days following July 4th

For those that have stayed at disney on the days following July 4th...is it an absolute madhouse.

We might be able to do a quick trip and would be looking at arriving on July 8th for a few days..??

What are your thoughts??

Good question. I was wondering too. We'll be arriving on July 12th.

I feel like I know your famly, so I would say The Zurgs will have a wonderful time.
It will be very hot, humid and crowed so go to the Parks early and then return to the resort to cool off in the middle of the day. Late afternoon or early evening return to the parks.

Please bring light colored cloths dark T-shirts are colorful but just absorb the heat. Take water and cold wash cloth to Parks to cool off with. (I actualy freeze a few washcloths every night) The cooling fans would be helpful, with the heat the children will use them.

Conner will have to be watched because the heat will drain him quickly and will effect his blood sugar.

Have fun and stay cool.

The days following the 4th are less crowded than prior to the holiday. It is still crowded, don't get me wrong, but not as crazy (at least in past years - you never know what will happen...).

Thanks for the great advice....so funny to have somebody say they feel like they know my family....but you were so right on then you even thought about Connor...the interent amazes me every now and then...

We're arriving on July 2 and staying through the 10th. The crowds do subside somewhat after the 4th. (This is our third visit for July 4th week). Just like the other posters have stated - it will be hot, but the misters work well - and I also bring a face rag for cooling off!
