Days before Christmas

My mom has always wanted to see the Christmas decorations at Disneyland. My sister and I decided to take her and the kids this year. The only days we can both get to Anaheim are:

Saturday Dec. 21
Sunday Dec. 22
Monday Dec. 23
Tuesday Dec .24
Wednesday Dec. 25 (is it even open)

We live in Northern California. Any suggestions on which days to go to Disneyland and California Adventure? We aren't sure what the hours will be for the parks. We know it will be crowded. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Disneyland is open 365 days per year, unless unforseen circumstances occur. Knott's Berry Farm, (for people who may see this) is still a very "family" park, and give Christmas day off for all of their employees and is therefore closed on Christmas Day itself.

My advice is to feel your way. If you see that DL seems very crowded, then head to DCA. The thing is that I can't really predict DCA crowds, because there are rumors of a big So. Cal. discount at DCA over the Christmas holiday, which will definitely drive attendance up.
