To start off the annual DST discussion/debate/venting/celebration... here's a great song I just saw on Instagram! (From the Holderness Family account)
I love The Holderness Family! That video is so good. I might be in the minority here, but with young kiddos, I absolutely hate the time change. In the fall, when my youngest is one day sleeping until 6:30 and the next day, it's 5:30...that's rough! We all eventually adjust, but I'm definitely not a fan!
Yes-they are so funny and creative, love the videos they put out. I keep showing my husband their stuff on instagram- Look at this! I can definitely relate to most of it, lol. The time change is annoying but I adjust eventually. My cats seem to have an issue with it though. More so in the fall when they get fed an hour later, they don't understand what's going on.I'm with you on both counts! - They're one of my favorite content creators, and adjusting to the time change is super challenging for me. I find fall rougher than spring, but even this one takes me quite a while to settle into.
I would love a "meet in the middle" approach. What about a compromise? A one time change, and set time ahead or behind 30 minutes.
I worked for a global company 20 years ago that had multiple clocks on the office walls set for different time zones around the world, and there was actually a time zone in Asia that was just a half hour different. Anyone think that might be possible?
The only issue with that is we'd (USA) be 30 minutes off from the rest of the world's times. Then, not only do you have to remember what time it is where you're calling, but it's 30 minutes off from that, one way or the other. What about a compromise? A one time change, and set time ahead or behind 30 minutes.

I think if we did it, other places might as well. This can't be the only place where people don't like the constant adjustingThe only issue with that is we'd (USA) be 30 minutes off from the rest of the world's times.
Same! During my working life I was too busy to let something like the gain or loss of an hour to concern me. Now I'm retired, it doesn't really matter what time it is (unless it's dinner time!)Neither spring forward nor spring back ever bother me. It's an hour, one way or another. I
DST never bothered me at all. I like it, more daylight wake time during the 'nice' months.
