I wake up feeling a lot better after a good nights sleep. I have a wander downstairs and get a coffee from the deli which I take outside to drink before going back up to wake up dh.
The room is really very nice and clean including the offending bathroom.
In a better frame of mind I decide that I do like the hotel and get busy unpacking while DH gets ready. We head off to the Ponderosa to have breakfast and make plans for the day.
It is decided we will go to Walgreens after breakfast to get a kettle and a few bits and pieces and will go to Sea World in the afternoon as I want to see Mistify and it finishes in a couple of days.
Back at the hotel we purchase the 14 day I-Trolley tickets and head off to the Walgreens by Wet n Wild. After a couple of tours around the shop we find they dont have any kettles so we get some ham, rolls and butter and plastic plates and cutlery. I get off the trolley just before the hotel and go Walgreen's while DH goes back with the shopping. I find plenty of kettles here and also buy some curling tongs as I had forgotten to bring my hot brush. As it turned out I only used it once as it was so hot I wore a baseball cap most of the time and kept my hair up from my neck.
Back at the room we have some ham rolls with a much needed cup of tea before getting ready to go out and agreeing that we must get the loo fixed before one of us ends up in the room next door.
We get the I-trolley to Sea World and it definitely looks like rain although it is extremely hot.
Once in the park we try to find Blue Horizons but we find it has finished for the day so its off to see the Shamu show. I just love this and I think there has been a few changes since we seen it in April. Its then onto Journey to Atlantis but I have to get a locker as I have my handbag with me, (I left my bum bag at home as we had bought a couple of rucksack bags but after trying it out at the hotel I decided I didnt like it).
We decide to go to the hospitality place for a drink, DH has his usual free buds and I have an orange while watching the birds or are they watching me?
The rain comes down but doesnt last too long although it stays cloudy for the rest of the day. We wander around and then go to see Shamu Rocks before Mistify. We both enjoyed Shamu Rocks as we hadnt seen it before and we went from there to find somewhere to stand for the fireworks. To be honest I cant say I quite understood Mistify and we didnt have a particularly good position so we decided to leave before the crowds for the trolley back. At the trolley stand it was madness, after 15 mins and no trolley the place was full and people were just pushing to the front of the queue. Dh is getting mad so we walk to the next stop. Eventually we get on a packed trolley and we arrive back at the hotel about 10:15.
We decide to report the loo seat and the woman on reception is very good she gives us the option of moving to another room or they can send someone up in about 5mins. DH tells her it will do tomorrow morning but no sooner than we were in the room a handyman came and fixed it, thats what I call service.
