Day trip alone?

Just saw that kennythepirate's blog is showing a potential M&G with the prince & princess pairs at MK tomorrow. I've never met either Charming, Phillip or Flynn Rider, but DH can't get off work. Since I'm semi-local-ish & an AP, I'm tempted to just drive down myself for the day... But it'll mean 5-6hrs on the road, $25 in gas plus $15 in parking, and being down there alone (which I've never done)...

Sometimes being there alone is the best way to do it. For my birthday two years ago I got two days alone in Disney for the F&W Festival. Best two days EVER! I got to eat whatever I wanted without being judged. Didn't have to ride anything I didn't want to and got to go to the bathroom on MY schedule.

Go for it! Get an early start and Valet park at Contemp and have the breakfast buffet at The Wave or something quick at Contempo Cafe. With Fp+ for the meets, you'll be good to go. You can park hop by Valet parking at any other resort for free or use Disney transportation. Have fun!

Wow! That would be a heck of a day

I was honestly just gonna drive down at 6:00am hope I got there by rope drop-ish and head out at 1:00 or 2:00 to be home for dinner with the DH after work.
(& probably grab fast food for lunch on the way back)

Woke up at 5:30 with a fever - back to bed til 9:30. No Disney Princes for me
