"day off" at the beach

We're staying at FW for a week. One of our "days off" we would like to go to a beach. Anyone know of a beach relatively close beach on the Gulf or Atlantic? Thanks

We followed the signs to Ron-Jon's on Cocoa Beach. We shopped a little and left the car in their lot and walked down to the beach. We walked on the beach for about an hour, and headed back to FW.

Now, most people may want to spend a little more time on the beach, but that was plenty of time for us!
