Day by day VS Wait list

New member here, I have heard people talking about the wating list (I know how that works) and calling daily. My question is, would the waiting list people have priority over people calling in? How does this all work?

that is the problem - they won't tell us.

the wait list is surpose to look once a day. but only once.

so yes someone calling in after a cancelation has a better chance of getting it.
