Day Before Transportation Questions

My family of four is coming in the day before on a land/sea and staying at the Hyatt. My DU rep. told me to catch the DCL transport the next AM to the Poly that starts at 10:30. I have bought the transfers, etc. Is there anything earlier that I can catch that would be included in my transfers, or do I have to wait until 10:30? I read something about Mears in some other post or guide but that wasn't clear. I would prefer to get to the parks before the 10:30 transport. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure exactly how it works on the land/sea packages, but for cruise-only, the busses start leaving the airport for Port Canaveral at around 10:00am. We usually stay at the Hyatt, and when we check in, they give us an envelope with info on where and when to meet the DCL busses. Let the person at the Hyatt desk know that you are a DCL passenger. You may be able to leave earlier on the DCL busses, but probably not too much earlier than 10:30.

I believe that the Mears shuttles are used to take people from the airport to the resort on days when the cruises sail (Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday), because the DCL buses are in use to transport from resort and airport to the port.
