Woke up later than usual but that was all right since I was taking it easy today. Drove to the Poly for breakfast at the Kona Cafe. Had to try the tonga toast. OK, I tried it, it was all right but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I went to AK to finish up a couple rides I didn't do while Burt was here, Dinosaur and Kali River Rapids. Glad I wore my poncho on Kali, the only parts of me that got wet were my socks (I should have removed them) and my butt. Considering all the water that poured on me I did pretty good. I thought that if I put my feet up they wouldn't get as wet but the waves don't care where your feet are. I hit the Lion King show before leaving, its something I enjoy but I know Burt wouldn't. Decided to visit the AK Lodge to see what I was missing. Guess I'm supposed to be impressed. Went to Wolfgang Pucks for lunch and then to Typhoon Lagoon to laze away the afternoon.
Went back to Epcot and repeated Spaceship Earth and Tapestry of Dreams. Had a Turkey leg (my first) and saw the American Adventure. They must be rehabbing the lobby cause they let us in the exit of the theater instead of thru the lobby. I left Epcot then after a little shopping and headed for Pleasure Island. I took in one show at the Comedy Club and one at the Adventurers Club. I know that smoking is prohibited inside those two clubs but it should also be banned while waiting in line to get into the Comedy Club. I had to stand there for a half hour behind 3 chain smokers. Got back to my room around midnight. Leaving tomorrow.
