Jack's back and don't we know it, up at 6am this morning and in a complete and utter nutty mood !!! god knows where he gets his energy from.....
Left the villa at 9.20 this morning and took Sara with us, arranged to meet Phil and Paula at Seaworld at 12 o'clock, drove down to Internation Drive and had breakfast at Ponderosa's, me, Steve and Sara only went up the once, Billy went up for seconds and then a bowl of ice cream
Jack had his fill and then a bowl of fruit, cake and cookies all on the same plate, very good value, can't believe we ate here every day last time we came though, I was completely full and didn't want to move at all after I'd finished.
After much huffing and trying to breath in headed onto Seaworld and paid the extra $3.00 for preferred parking which is near the entrance and is worth the money especially if you've got young kids - saying that with all I ate at breakfast I think I should have walked to Seaworld from Ponderosa's to burn some calories off.
Met up with Phil and Paula and walked to the Dolphins Cove, unfortunately we didn't get to touch any today, never mind, its quite relaxing just watching these beautiful creatures. Headed towards the Shamu show, sat in the splash area but didn't get wet, this is one of my favourite shows of all time, the size of these animals and the strength they have and manage to still look graceful, absolutely brilliant ! went our seperate ways after this and arranged to meet up later.
The queue for wild artic was stupid when we got out of there so we decided to head towards the manatees, which is my favourite mammel, apart from man - no on second thoughts they ARE my favourite (lol), they look so sad and I just feel like diving in and giving them a big hug ! went into a few shops after this and Billy brought some things, snorkel, mask (he's got the bug for it since yesterday) we then headed towards wild artic again and met up with the others, decided we'd have a bite to eat, had a scrummy steak & onions batch with fries (well me and steve shared) very nice, me and steve decided we were both tired and could do with going back to the villa and veg out and mess about in the pool, Sara wanted to come back with us, so thats what we done at 3.40pm, so we hardly done anything in Seaworld but we will be going again later on in the week and we definately need to chill a bit, you don't realise to you get to a park how tired you get when its so hot, mid to high 80's again today which is hot to me (red head, pale skin, freckles - got the picture) especially when you're pushing a buggy around, popped into wallmart on the way back to get some goodies for tonight to munch and pig out on.
Got back to the villa at 5.30pm and straight into the pool for a couple hours with the kids. Phil and Paula got back at 7.30pm while I was in the huge corner bath with Jack - I WANT ONE OF THESE AT HOME !!!! love them, my sunburn hurt a bit through on my back so I had to submerge very very slowly
but once I was under I didn't want to come out, but the water was getting cold and I was getting wrinkly more than usual. Got ready for bed and started nibbling, Steve decided to take Jack for a walk at 9pm to see if he could get him to sleep so I decided to do some ironing (god it feels like being back at home) steve came back 20 minutes later and Jack was wide awake, even more so than he did when he went out - never mind ! we were all getting a bit peckish and decided to have a McDonalds, I had a McChicken sandwich meal and the chicked was REAL CHICKEN non of this processed stuff you get here, the fries weren't as nice but the chicken made up for it, swilled down with a cold lager, Jack had 6 nuggets and fries with a large sprite, for a little one I don't know where he puts it all. Billy had long gone to bed - him and jack are like chalk and cheese where food, sleep and personalities come into it.
Managed to finally get Jack to bed at 10 o'clock, and we followed at 11pm.
