Friday 12th July

We were all up by 8:30, breakfast at the FC. We called for the National Shuttle bus to pick us up. We were taken across to the Car Care Centre just outside the Magic Kingdom. Pick up was slick, I was asked once if I wanted to upgrade to a convertible. We were given a Mitsubishi Gallant, very nice car. We got a good map from National. First thing was to go and test our map reading skills as we had to find our closing companies offices on Sand Lake Road. We only got lost once. After signing the papers, we decide to try and find the Beltz Mall. We could see the Mall but ended heading up the Florida Turnpike.
We all got a good look around the area as we tried to navigate our way back to WDW. It decided to tip it down with rain, I was not a happy bunny. We managed to get back to the hotel in one piece and without the driver and map reader falling out. We decide to head to DTD and then go resort hopping. When we got to DTD everyone else decided to go shopping, so the resort hopping plans were thrown out of the window.
Liam wanted to use some of his holiday money to buy and foam shield and sword. The girls browsed around the Rain Forest Café. We all then went to Ghirardellis and had ice creams all round. Nice, but I still love my Baskin Robins ice cream. We all then had a look round The Days of Christmas. What a wonderful shop, the decorations they have are amazing. Next stop was Disney at Home, Suzanne went in by herself and me and the kids watched the boats coming and go at the marina.
We headed back to the hotel and had dinner at the FC, after we headed along to the covered area just along from the bar for our meet with Tartan Tigger and Thumper Thistle (aka Johann and Tricia). We then spotted the play area for the children so they headed off and we never really saw them for the rest of the night. They would come back every fifteen minutes to have a drink or a chat. Our meeting time of 6:30pm came and went and we were worried that we were not in the right place.
Johann and Tricia turned up and the reason for them being delayed unfolded. Tricias bite did look rather nasty. We chatted about the holidays so far and planed for the remainder of our holidays. It was great to meet them both. Johann and Tricia had planed to go to their E-Night, so we said our goodbyes and we headed back to the room. The children asked as the passed the pool if they could go and have some pool time. Costumes were quickly put on and we enjoyed some late swimming. I think it was lights out at 12:30am. Great day all round.
