We managed to be at AK at 7:45, we made the mad dash for the safari and walked right on. We all agreed this was one of the better viewing experiences we've had on the safari. After exiting the safari we went one more time, after this ride we walked through Pagahni(spelling?) Trails, LOTS of gorillas. We've visited the AK 10 ore more times and never seen them this active. We watched them for at least 45 minutes. As we exited and looked back at the safari line it was rather intimidating, by now it was after 9 and we were starting to get hungry. We went and checked into the Breakfasorous, our PS wans't until 10:10. My hubby went and grabbed FP's for the Dino ride and we waited maybe 10 minutes before they called our name. The breakfast was good but we had eaten at Spoodles the morning before and could not help but notice the buffet was not kept near as fresh as at Spoodles. The character interaction was good but our server made me wait entirely to long for refills. My husbamd and I both had the , we are so happy our kids are growing out of character meals conversation. After filling our tummies we hit the Dino ride twice. The park was starting to get rather crowded so we went back to the All Star Sports for a break. My husband took a nap and the kids and I looked around. I ahd been very concerned about staying at the All Stars. I have to say though its a cute resort and for $74 it can't be beat. The kids and I took alot of pics for friends who are coming with us next Dec and are chosing the All Stars.
By 3:30 we were on our way to MGM, it was also packed!!! We did alot of people watching , met alot of characters and just enjoyed being there. Most rides had wait times of 45 minutes to an hour and half wait. We watched Muppets 4d with no wait and watched the 6 PM Indiana show with no wait. We met a nice couple from Miami who started coming to Disney when it opened, we chatted for probably an hour to our childrens dismay, we heard alot of " I can't wait until I'm 14 and we can tour the parks without you two, we willl blah blah blah" you get the picture. At 7:30 we went to the backlot to view the lights and they were beautiful, I believe I enjoy this more than MVMCP. We bought 2 of the hot chocolates in the cute souvie mugs, total $8.
We headed for the bus around 8:30 and met a nice family from New Jersey . We exited the bus and headed for the food court, we bought 2 rotis. chicken dinners with 2 sides and a piece fo corn bread, a personal pizza, and breadsticks, total $27.00. We ate in our room while watching the Sound of Music. I love that movie!!!
We decided to leave early the next morning instead if doing anymore touring because of the noticeably large increase in park attendance over the past few days. We moved out at 5:30 the next morning biding our favorite place good by for now!
