Day 5 Epcot and E-night

Up nice and early with our wake up call and were at Epcot for 9.05am. Went to Journey into Imagination first. Much prefer this new ride to the previous disaster they had on my last trip. After the ride we sent e-mails to family and friends and Bouncy. Headed to The Land next and got a fast pass for Living with the Land. Saw Food Rocks which we both love and then went on Living with the Land boat ride. Our guide lacked enthusiasm and it was freezing in the tunnels, green houses were lovely and warm. I did enjoy this but I wouldnt queue for a long time to ride.
Went to the Living Seas next. Skipped the film and went straight to the hydrolators. I cant believe the effect you get here, you really feel like you are going down under the sea. Didnt spend long here and disappointed that we didnt see the dolphins. Do they still have them?
Headed for World Showcase and got lunch from Harry Ramsdens (fish and chips) and ate it overlooking the lagoon. Walked around the world stopping at all the shops. Rode the Maelstrom in Norway and the boat ride in Mexico. The Mexico ride was a first for us, it was good but I wouldnt rush onto it again. Made our way back to Future World and went to Ice Station. I couldnt remember what drink was the disgusting one. I soon found it and spat Beverly all over the place. Bought some things in the shop and without realising I signed my traveller cheque in the wrong place. The CM told me what I had done and said to sign the bottom line which I did. Then he announced that as I had signed the wrong place I had made it payable to myself and he couldnt accept it. The Travel Agent cant take it back because they didnt witness it being signed but did suggest paying it into my bank account. I was really annoyed because he could have told he couldnt accept it before telling me to sign it again. When we came out of here we were sitting on a bench watching the fountain when a group of people, all wearing Disney name tags, but not in uniform gathered in front of the fountain. They made a circle and then a tannoy announcement came over welcoming the new CMs to the Walt Disney World family. Everyone round about cheered. It was nice to see, one of those moments of being in the right place at the right time.
Returned to the hotel and had lunch, then got bus to Downtown Disney and did a little shopping. Went to Disney Quest to try and get online again, really want to know what is happening in the Big Brother house, sad I know! Couldnt get on, it was really busy and the people using the internet kept adding to their time. Another gripe was the people who were sitting in the internet booths and werent even using it. Couldnt they have sat somewhere else. Moaning over we got the bus to the Contemporary and had a look around then got the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
First thing we did on arrival was to get our wristbands for e-night. I started to go in the exit, then realised and came back out but dithered at the entrance trying to work out what side of the rope I was supposed to go in. The CM was laughing at me, there were arrows taped on the ground but I failed to see them. MK was extremely busy so we went round the park on the train, had a look in the shops and then got turkey legs which we ate waiting for Spectro Magic to begin. We had a perfect spot in Frontierland. Spectro was superb, this was the first night time parade we saw at WDW and we both prefer it to Main Street Electrical Parade. After the parade we rode Aladdin, good but short and again I wouldnt queue over 10 minutes to ride it. Watched the fireworks and then e-night began.
Went on Thunder Mountain first with a 5 minute wait and then onto Splash. Headed over to Tomorrowland and went on Buzz then TTA. The view of Space Mountain was very clear tonight, think they had removed some of the screens that normally shield your view. Went on Buzz again and I got my personal best score of 23,500. My worst score is 0! It was heaving with people in Tomorrowland so we decided to go back to the other side of the park.
Went to Haunted Mansion. When we came out the stretching room the CM was scaring everyone. We were at the front of the line and as we were walking down to board the doom buggy CM Sean was banged on the wooden ledge and scared the living daylights out of some people. As we neared him he had his back to me so I banged my hand down on the ledge and frightened him!!! You should have seen his face. I walked past with my innocent look of it wasnt me. He told the other CM that I wasnt to get on, I could wait until the end of the line. We got to the moving floor and the other CM tells us to wait, then he says the floor is moving. I step on to the moving floor and he yells at me that he didnt say I could go and he made me come back. Then he told the family behind me that they could go on before me, once they were seated he let us on. It was funny. I was terrified the whole ride, kept expecting Sean to jump out on me somewhere, especially when the ride stopped for a few minutes.
Went back to Thunder Mountain and got seats at the back. Weve always sat near the front so found being at the back a lot faster, it was cool. Back onto Splash Mountain and for the second time tonight I managed to keep my arms in the air for the drop. Yippee!!! Return to Tomorrowland and we are starting to slow down, seems legs cant keep up with the brain. Ride Buzz and just as we enter the 2nd section my score hits 999,999!!! I have no idea what I hit but I dont care because I am a GALACTIC HERO!!!!!!!!!! Ride another 4 times but never hit top score again.
At 12.45am we headed to the bus stop. There was a bus waiting for us but we had to stand. I did manage to fall asleep standing up, I am skilled at this in WDW. Back at hotel by 1.20am and in bed for 1.40am. Wake up set for 7.25am, were going to Seaworld tomorrow.
Tricia bitten on the top of her right foot today, dont know what bit her or where we were when it happened.
