DS3- as excited as his mommy to be at WDW
Another early entry day- come on troops rise and shine its 6:00 am-!! waited under 5 minutes for our long treck to AK- it took 5 minutes to get to park from AKL- pretty cool!!
once past security and waiting in line a CM came up to us and asked us if we would like to go for a safari- it was only 7:30 am!! "sure", we replied- well he told us we were the first family of the day and we get to go on a private safari!!- too cool- we boarded the kilomanjaro van and had the guide all to ourself- we were on safari for about 45 minutes- the guide took his time stopping and explaining in detail about the animals and the disney magic trees (fake) i got a ton of fantastic pics- a giraffe was in arms reach- i will never forget this!! when we got off we were given a certificate stating we were the first family of the day!!
got on dinosaur- knew i was in for a ride when i saw that there was a basket to put your belongings in- fun ride- not as scary as i thought- DS3 enjoyed being the only child in the bone pit-digging for dinosaur bones!!- this is a great park if you enjoy looking at animals but DS3 got bored of this real quick- i really didn't think there were many rides- its a bugs life was great- this is the only "ride that scared DS3)
We ate at RFK- report on restaurant board- food okay- used connection lunch vouchers-
left park around 2:00 and went for a dip in the AKL pool- it was about 70 degrees outside and maybe 70 to 75 degrees in the pool- didn't stay in long!
went to boma for dinner!! ahhh i wished i was there now- restaurant board for review
stay tuned....MGM- not enough for the little ones
