We got up early again and were at the park for opening. Thanks to express access we did The Hulk, Spiderman, Dudley Doo Right, Popeye, Jurassic Park and Fire and Ice by 11. I missed Poseidons Fury the last time I was there so I really wanted to see it. The boys werent very thrilled about going to this but they ended up really liking it as did I. We did the Cat in the Hat and found ourselves at the beginning of the park. We had a quick lunch at the NBA Café. I wasnt very impressed with this. I think it may just be that all of this type of restaurant (Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, All Star Sports Café etc) are starting to seem the same. After we ate we went to check in to the Caribe Royale. I was very impressed with this hotel. We got the 1 bedroom suite for the $99 Mousesavers rate. It was very nice. The boys wanted to check out the outlet mall so we went over there and stocked up on Disney shirts for $4.99 then hit Publix to stock our refrigerator. We got soda and bottled water as well as some snacks. This worked out great for us.
It was now around 6 so we headed back to IOA for the evening. We had time to ride The Hulk and Spiderman. Then we went to check out the Sinbad show. The show had been going for about 10 minutes when they interrupted and said it was being cancelled due to inclimate weather. We headed over to Spiderman but it was closed due to a breakdown so there was really no ride in the entire park operating. We had really done everything we wanted to do there so we headed over to CityWalk to catch Austin Powers 3. I was really surprised by the ticket prices here. They were cheaper than they are in Iowa and I didnt expect that at all. I love Austin Powers so I loved this movie as did the boys. We then headed back to the Caribe to start our 4 day Disney adventure!
