That is how many days we in the Dallas area have had weather in the 100's

No wonder my electric bill was almost as much as the house payment : (

Actually the Star-Telegram this morning said it was the 40th day over 100. Yee ha. Got my $319.00 electric bill today. Would October get here already??? I can't afford this! And it's not like I'm trying to keep the house temp at 71degrees. It's 80 degrees upstairs, and 79 degrees down.

And my well for watering is electric too.
Tired of watering and tired of hearing that ac run.
It's all makin' me sweat even more

It's been at least that long since we've had any rain, too. The storms all seem to miss us =( I hope these thunderstorms come through this week!!

They all miss us, too..........not a drop of rain since, well, since when I don't know.

I think the OP meant days in a row of over 100?

Our electric bill is through the roof, and we're still hot. Our gas bill is through the roof, and we're still hot in the car. Our water bill is through the roof, and my lawn is still mostly brown (but my bushes and trees are alive, not so my neighbors')!

I also live in DFW and boy I wish it would just rain one nice rain and cool off the temps.. My electric bill was over $500 last month.. Im afraid to get my new bill later this next week.. The sad thing is that the ac unit is working so hard against this heat its really not all that cold in my house.. I cant wait for the cooler weather.. although Im sure you'll hear me complaining about the cool temps then too..

It seemed like one day this week (cant remember which one it was) that it wasnt as hot as the other days.. I went out to get in my car at lunchtime and my face didnt melt off when I got in the car..

There was something on one of the news stations where they put cookie dough on a baking sheet and stuck it in the front window and in less than 3 hours they had baked cookies..
