We awakened at 6:30 am to to cloudy day, but no rain, thankfully, so far! DD was so excited as she was wearing her Jasmine costume from WDW to the Storybook Princess Breakfast. DH was heading to the University of Central Florida to check it out, and was dropping us off at Epcot. As we were going through security, the guard told DD that she looked just like Jasmine, which made her so happy! Once through the gate, we headed over to get a "magic carpet" in which the "Princess" could travel, and the CM at the stroller place bowed to DD, which she though was really funny! At every turn CM's were bowing and curtsyint to her! When we arrived at the breakfast we were seated immediately, even though we were 10 minutes early! We had a great server named Knut, and the breakfast (with the exception of the overcooked eggs) was really good! The princesses were great, and didn't seem to be rushed. Princess Jasmine kept telling the other princesses that my DD had good taste because she was dressed up like her!
After breakfast, DD still wanted to keep on her costume (I think she liked the attention), and we went to get a FP for Test Track. Along the way we met up with a mom and her DD from Canada, and the girls became fast friends, so we headed together to ride Journey to Your Imagination, with Figment! It was really cute! They did a good job bringing that ride back to life! After, I had to pick up some Figment souveniers, of course! The people we met went to meet up with the rest of their family, and we went to ride Test Track. DD wanted to head to MGM at this time to ride RnR, so she changed clothes, and we through the World Showcase, starting in Mexico. I was hoping that they would have the KidCot centers open, but they didn't . In Germany we saw Snow White and Dopey, and Snow White remembered DD, and commented on her having changed out of her Jasmine costume. We were quite impressed that Snow White remembered!
After exiting through the International Gateway, we rode the Friendship boat to MGM. It was a nice relaxing trip, and a great way to cool off.
Once in MGM, DD had to get her picture in front of the big inflatable Stitch in front of MGM. After entering, we made a beeline to RnR to pick up a FP, then we walked around for a bit. We returned shortly to ride RnR, holding our breath that DD would be tall enough---whew! she was!!! She was a bit nervous, and of course, I couldn't see her face throughout the ride, but upon getting off, she insisted we get another FP! She LOVED it! We picked up Fp's and then went to get her picture taken in Animation Courtyard with Stitch. Got in touch with DH who was on his way back from UCF and set up a meeting place near Primetime Cafe around 3:30. 45 minutes had passed, so we went to get FP's for DH and I to use to ride ToT later that evening (DD doesn't like that ride). We then headed to New York Street, and DD was fascinated by Stitch up on the building... she thought He was really up there (the wonder of Disney magic!). Being hot, we also took the opportunity to stand beneath the rain shower at the "Singing in the Rain" umbrella. We headed back to Primetime Cafe, where we got a call from DH saying he was coming into the park. \
We ate at Primetime, which was really fun, and the food was VERY good! Those S'mores for dinner were absolutely SINFUL!
After dinner we headed toward RnR, and it started to rain. By the time we got off of RnR, then bottom had dropped out! Umbrellas and ponchos were doing a minimal amount of good, and even standing under the umbrellas at the marketplace near ToT was not doing any good, as the water was ankle deep and the wind was blowing. Finally we decided we were wet anyway, so we just went out and played in it. We were totatlly amazed at all of the people who were afraid they would melt!---lol!
DH and I had to do the kid swap thing for ToT, as DD doesn't like it. DH took DD in to where they sell the ride photos. DD became fascinated with what was behind the locked door, so she went up to a CM named Josh and asked. He played along with her on this mystery for at least 20-30 minutes, still not ignoring the other guests, but making my DD feel very special. He even gave her a Mickey Detective pin from his lanyard. He posed for a picture with her, and then had us take a picture for him with DD. It was his last day of the college program. He is studying to be an English Teacher, and there will be many very lucky kids who get him for a teacher!
After riding ToT, we rode Star Tours, and then headed out of the park and back to the hotel. Time to go to sleep and start again fresh in the morning!
