Jack slept till 7.15am this morning in his own cot all night!!! Billy was already up they both had cereal and i joined them with a cup of tea. We were all washed, showered, and ready to go at 8.50am and on our way to Animal Kingdom for the day (billy's feet permitting) we've took the both cars incase we have to come back early. Got into the park for 9.15am and headed straight for the kilamanjaro safari, i thoroughly enjoyed this and seen plenty of animals being quite early in the morning, i don't remember anything about this park at all the last time i came in 1999, i was 5 months pregnant and i think i spent 3 or 4 hours we were in there sitting down in the shade.... not this time though after the safari had a wonder around and headed towards The Lion King show, what a brilliant show, jak and billy also seemed to enjoy themselves, jack managed to fall asleep about 5 minutes from the end even with the loud singing and clapping from the audience, he takes after his dad in that area. Well as jack slept we headed towards Dinoland and had something to eat, i had a 1/2lb cheeseburger with bacon and fries and a whole load of free side compliments onions, lettuce, mushrooms and relish and i've got to say it was the best burger i have ever had, i think the noises of satisfaction was getting billy and steves nerves i don't care though i was enjoying myself.
While jack was still asleep we went towards the kali rapid river ride, we met up with phil, paula and sara and billy and steve went on with them while i went to find a seat, they came off not too wet, jack woke up so we headed towards dinoland again to get him something to eat, on the way we seen loads of characters, mickey, minnie, pool, eeyore, tigger, piglet plus more so we got some really lovely photos and camcorder footage done for our memories, it was lovely to see jacks face light up when he seen them and hug them (this is what disney is all about) went on a few rides with billy in dinoland and decided to call it a day, looked at the watch and couldn't believe it was 4.10pm i couldn't believe how quickly today has gone, i've really enjoyed it, dropped in to see some of the photos which were taken of the kids and the characters bought one with them with mickey and one with minnie. Got to the car to go and chill for the rest of the day at the villa, stopped off again at wallmart on the way back to get some more essentials, like cookies, pop and nibbly bits, i was very brave and drove back to the villa from wallmart, even though its only about 500 metres away, i still did it and felt pretty strange though, i'm alright with the automatic because i've driven them before, its just the fact that the steering wheel is on the wrong side and i had to keep on asking steve which side of the road i had to be on!!!
parked safely though and got into the villa, let the kids have a mess around in the pool while i cooked them hotdogs. At one stage jack had on his hotdog in a batch with tomato sauce, wotsits, chocolate chip cookie and a jammie dodger, he doesn't care they all go down the same hole to him
Watched a bit of telly and steve took jack for a drive in the car at 8.15pm to get him asleep he arrived back 15 minutes later with the little horror looking like a complete angel fast asleep in his arms, so he put him straight to bed and we sat down with a lager and some nibbles watched Liar Liar with Jim Carrey which is so funny, some of the faces he pulls, then David Blain was on, some of his magic illusion is mind boggling, very clever, called it a day after that and was in bed for 10.30pm, you don't realise how much walking around you do in a day to tire you out, lots more than what i do at home thats for sure......
