Earning My Ears

We had wrapped the ears that anne had kindly sent to us and gave them to DD4 as an early xmas present, she opened them after breakfast and we told her we were going that day to DLRP, the look on her face was pure excitement, made it worthwhile keeping it a sercret
Set off for ashford arrived in plenty of time for the 10.32, no one had mentioned how rocky the train is!!! Arrived at Marne Le Valley at 13.30 (local time) checked luggage in to disney express and headed for the park, the look of pure pink and white of Disney Hotel and the mickey mouse clock made my tummy go and was so excited, raced through the turnstiles out to see the HUGE xmas tree, it looks just like toy town, hubby was filming and giving running commentary and i was rushing off to get a glimpse of the castle for the first time, fortunately main street wasn't that busy and the view was breathtaking.
Grabbed a couple of bagueetes to eat whilst walking and took loads of photos on the way to castle
Managed to go on quite a few rides, BTM (twice) which DD loved and the queues were not that bad, walked around looking at everything, and went to wait for the xmas parade, got fab seats on the kerb just by information board, and drank hot choc while we waited. The parade music was very catchy and the excitement of hearing it get louder as they got closer was fab, DD and i were clapping and then it started, the colours and sights of the floats was great and see santa with his reindeer just topped it, he even had a little girl sat next to him????
Managed to go on dumbo and a few other rides then back to watch the magical fairytale ceremony - which was electric!
Off to walts for reservations at 6pm, didn't get main street seats and although food was nice service was a bit lame and we were rushed by waitress which was such a shame, but we were out of there by 6.50 so got to stand again on the kerbside to watch fantisillusion parade which again was really good, by this time the park had filled up and as we all pured out of the park it got busy, went to get the bus back to santa fe, but qeue was huge so got bus to cheyenne and walked from there, finally settled to bed at 11pm
