Myself the organiser (Ginette)

DH the go alonger (Paul)

DD the princess/disney mad (Chloe)

We wake at 645 with help from the hotel wake up call. we get ready and head to the reception to get a safe deposit box.

Off to Disneyland for Good Morning Breakfast, wow this was great, fairly empty, great choice of food. Added benefit was 2x peter pan, and 2x dumbo before the park opened.

We headed over to pincochio, then off to discoveryland, to do Buzz lightyear, we enjoyed this espically when you can lift the laser out of the holder compared to WDW.

We go straight and get a fast pass, i then try the space moutain mission2, wow queue not that bad and the ride was great better the space mountain in WDW.

We go back to buzz to use our FP, for a FP it was not that fast we still waited 20mins.

Chloe starts to shout shes hungry around 11ish, so we head off for pizza, and had an added benefit of an indoor park. We prize Chloe out again, we headed towards adventureland to do POTC again but some reason there was a crowd outside and people were walking away. Chloe starts to pipe up "i want to go to the park", she got bored for the park, and started to pipe up agian to go swimming.

Going swimming turned out to be an expedition lol, not the same as just poping to the pool like we usually do. The outdoor part was closed when we first arrived it was a little nippy. Then the door opened and guess who wanted to be outside! So we head outside making sure my shoulders stay under the water.

By this time it was time to get our money from the timeshare, forget to mention on the prevous post we had to hand over 10 euros to make sure we turned up, (you get it back when you arrive)

We get a car to the resort.

Timeshare

We sit and wait, we are offered apple juice and chloe wants hot chocolate, we get a british sales person. We sit and listen to the pitch and get a shock at the price £14,100 for 1 week, double for 2 weeks, and 500 for maintence for each week. We get shown around the place, and the sales person asks has she changed out minds on timneshare. shakes our hands and shows back to the reception, here you go she hands over a envelope can you check it please. I starts to think here is the catch it's not 80 euros, it's vouchures off ie spend 10 get 2 off, I WAS SOOOOO WRONG, there is actually 80 euros to spend in DLP resort except the disney Store.

Chloe has great fun spending 80 euros she gets a princess dress (cindrella), scrapbook, pins (she collects them), minnie purse, t shirt, minnie pinny and oven mitt, she also got lots more with the added money from us.

We eat at King Ludwigs, timed it right as it was happy hour on the drinks, we got 2 steins. Chloe had pasta, and ice cream, i had pasta with cheese and cream, Paul had sausages on a bed of potato and onion, i then had a apple struudle and paul had a creme brole (sorry for the spelling).

Afterwards we head back to the hotel, where chloe finds a friend to talk to, and we had more drinks.

By this time Bed is screaming for us.

Wow, that's great. I would have enjoyed spending 80 euros of 'free' money! Sounds like your DD did well.

Sara. :)

Wow, I was expecting there to be a catch too! I have not so good distant memories of timeshare in Tenerife many moons ago! :lmao: :lmao:

We enjoyed eating at King Ludwig's too. We were dubious after reading mixed reviews but had delicious food and would definitely return.

What did you think of the Marriott Village? Sounds as if their presentation wasn't too pushy - and the 80 euros was a very nice bonus :thumbsup2

Was not pushy at all, we did not mention that were in the DVC, we let the salesperson do their job.

Must be honest for the price the village did not do it justice, we were shown a 2 bed villa, the pool, and the bar.

It is still under construction.

For £28200 and extra £1000 each year was really expensive compared to what we have paid for the DVC.

You sound like you had a great day. we loved the Pizza planet too. It was the first time we had visited.

For £28200 and extra £1000 each year was really expensive compared to what we have paid for the DVC

Especially as you can book it online on their own site for not much more than the maintenance. They struggled to explain this when we visited.
