So is anyone else pumped up for the Davy Jones concert this weekend? I've seen him for the last 2 years and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the concerts!

He is one of the Monkees....the group from the late 60's. He was the lead singer and the cutest of the bunch!

My DD, Kelly and I met Davy Jones after a Monkees concert a few years ago. DD who was 17 at the time loved the concert and spent about 10 minutes talking to Davy and Peter. I on the other hand only managed to embarass myself by telling Davy that he was on my lunchbox when I was a little girl! Davy was really nice about it and gave me a hug, DD rolled her eyes and laughed. Personally I think Davy still looks really good. Here is a picture of DD with Davy

We were going to arrive on Tuesday, May 16...when I found out Davy's last concert was going to be the night before, I added an extra day so we can see him in concert!

Heeeey! Just found out all the info on the concert - I don't know how I ever missed that. I can't wait!!!! He made me swoon as a kid and he still looks great for his age. Wait til I tell my sister,(she's coming with me and my son)
she'll love it!!! I don't know about my son though - he's 10 and he likes Johnny Cash.

Yup, we're arriving in WDW on Sunday and are planning to see him Monday evening. Any idea which show(s) will be least or most crowded? How early do you get there?

It depends on the artist. 3 or 4 years ago, they used to sign autographs after every show. Then it was just after the second show. Now it is rare that any of the performers sign autographs.

At the beginnig of each performance, there may be an announcement regarding videotaping. If there is no announcement, you can tape it.

I was IN love with Davey, David Cassidy and Lief Garrett... all at the same time!!!

This is part of the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. The performances are in America.

We saw Davy Jones last year and he makes fun of "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia." In fact, we enjoyed the show so much, we came back for a second concert the next day!

He is really funny.

five years ago a group of my friends and myself dressed up and sang as the monkees in our high school senior year talent show. We thought it would be fun to go see davy jones since he was a playing at a fair in our state. He puts on a great show and it was lots of fun except for one little thing. Since it was a fair ground the show was standing only and we were standing right at the front of the stage. About a thousand women went crazy when he came out and basicaly all ran towards him and US. To make a long story short i end up at the hospital the following day with a broken rib. When the doctor asked what happened and I told him I got stage rushed at a davy jones concert he went and found like five nurse. "tell them, tell them." apparently he thought his was a riot. So drugged up on pain killers I told five nurse my story. They thought I was so lucky. I just felt embarrised lol. To this day my friends still talk about it
