Hi can anybody give me some advice please on where to stay when going to Disneyland Paris. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children ages 5,3 &1) and are going for 4 nights in June. I have booked us into the Hotel New York but getting cold feet now about us all sharing the one hotel room. I rang Disney and they can offer a 2 bed bungalow in Davy Crockett which is a 15 min drive away and we would need to hire car. (cost which actually be the approx. be the same) but we don't know whether we should change to Davy Crockett. Advice needed please?

We had a room at HNYwith 2 queen sized beds there was heaps of space to add a cot for you younger one but we we re only 2 adults and one child We didn't spend much time in the room is say it would be fine

Agree with Aussiesonholidays. I've not stayed at the Hotel New York personally (family of six, so always drive and stay at the Davy Crockett).

However, it's a very popular hotel :thumbsup2

Depends what you want though really....

Davy Crockett is generally for people who travel to DLP via car, and/or want a self-catering option.

I have to agree, you do not spend much time in the room. Besides, you do get breakfast in HNY and is just next to Disney Village, 5 mins walk to the parks and queues for security check are very very small. And the pool of HNY is just great for relaxation after day in the parks. HNY is is great, rooms are good and beds are big enough for one adult and two kids (tried out myself :lmao: ).
On the other hand, maybe there are some other things why you don't want to share the room for 5?

I think it all depends on how your family works and if you're ok sleeping in the same room?

We've stayed at HNY when our youngest was a baby and there is plenty of room for a cot. Will your older lo's share ok in a double bed? If you're happy enough with the sleeping arrangements, then I'd stick with the HNY. I've always found that our kids routines are disrupted on holiday no matter where we stay.

With the ages of your lo's I think you'd benefit more from being close to the parks. The HNY is ideal to be able to go back to during the day for a swim or even just a rest to get away from the buzz. It's a 10 minute walk max. If you were at the DCR then you'd need to drive etc to get back. Being there for 4 nights/5 days you will probably want to take some time out. It's easy to stroll back with your lo's in pushchairs without the hassle of parking/driving etc.

Hope this helps :goodvibes
