So we are doing a low key birthday party this year for my daughter and she wants to bring 2 friends to Dave and Busters. But she also has 2 sisters so we are 5 kids all together that will be playing. I would love some sort of a discount. I signed up for the website and got 1 coupon but would love a little more if anyone has anything.:goodvibes

Thanks in advance...:flower3:

I think they have some in the Entertainment Book, but mine is at home. I'll take a look tonight and let you know.

I go to Dave & Busters at least once a month with my husband and children. Here is what I do to get discounts (because we ONLY go with discounts):

- Obtain Dave and Busters cards - one for each family member/email address you have. These cards cost $2 to obtain at Dave & Busters. No matter what, you must pay this to get a card. IF you had a friend that had some leftover cards that are NOT registered and they are willing to give it to you, great.

- Register each card to a different email address. You can not register them to the same email addresses. It is WORTH IT to get some 'free' email addresses to sign up multiple cards.

- Each newly registered card earns $10 in FREE game play! Once you register the card, you get an email in a couple of days with this coupon. They have expiration dates about a month out.

- Each month, Dave & Busters sends offers for all registered cards. Sometimes it is $10 free game play with purchase of $10, or $20 free game play with purchase of $20, or buy one get one free entrees, or buy an entree and get an appetizer for free.

- For any offer, make sure you have one coupon per card and PER person. This is how we redeem 4 coupons in one evening.

- Dave and Busters near our house has started limiting the use of free game play on certain nights. BE SURE to check with your local Dave & Busters for these restrictions and any others with the coupons.

- Go during their special hours to get deals on eat & play. So an $11 entree will be $16 but you get $10 in game play. Check your location for these hours.

- Go during happy hour. Our location has half off all drinks 4 - 7 pm Monday through Friday. So we go Friday nights and get cheap drinks for mom and dad!

- We end up ordering lots of appetizers and share. Although the kids meals are not a bad option for a small plate for kids.

Ok, I think that's it from me - good luck!

I'm kidding, I have more to tell you :goodvibes

- Use ONE power card as a 'rewards card'. Anytime you buy points on your card or food or drinks, hand them your reward card to get recognized for your purchases. After $100 in purchases, they give you $10 free game play (but I've never known it to be applied immediately, usually I get an email a day or two later). This free game play does have an expiration (about a month or two).

- If you encounter any issues with games that don't work or tickets that aren't coming out, notify one of the employees (in the black/white stripe ref shirt). They are so nice and usually give you extra game play, coins, or tickets.

- If you like video games (the non-ticket games), find out when they have their power hours. It is unlimited game play for an hour for $10 (or something like that). It is a great deal if all you do is the video games.

If I think of anything else, I'll post again

If you haven't signed up for their e-mails yet, sign up and you get $10 in free game play.

Also, don't pay the $2 for the card. We got the cards free when we did the play and dine thing they offer. You don't have to pay for the card if you do that offer. We bought lunch (it was closer to dinner than lunch - 5pm), and we upgraded to $20 in game play. So we paid $23 for our meal, got $20 in game play, and had the $10 free play. We each ended up with $30 worth of gaming.

We spent 4 hours total at Dave and Busters, which was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday.

That is what we did. Everyone ordered what they wanted and we got 5 adult meals with the $20 card. It worked out way cheaper than last year and the kids had a ball. Food was only okay but worth it for the savings on the card.
