I guess it just depends on your personal beliefs. We will be there Oct. 2-9 as a birthday present for our DD's third birthday. Her birthday, however, is Sept 8th. We are going to the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare and and the Princess Storybook Breakfast (if we get PS's that is lol). Anyway, the point is, will I be telling everyone it's her birthday? No I will not. It is her birthday trip, but it is 4 weeks past her birthday, so I see no reason to get her a button or tell anyone it's her birthday. Her birthday will not be ignored, she will have a big party with family her actual birthday weekend, and a week in disney is a pretty great birthday present in itself. I'm not saying anyone is wrong for choosing to do this, but than the question comes in, when does it become to much. Example, my MIL surprised my neice and her parents with a trip to disney for her 9th birthday last October. They left yesterday. So it is her birthday trip, but her birthday was 6 months ago. So should they get her a button? I certainly don't think so. Please, no flaming...I am not putting down anyone, it is just my opinion.
OP just wanted some ideas for his daughters B-Day. Other people shared their ideas and experiances and then someone always has to jump in to say "no no that's not right". Golly People. You are certainly free to share opinions, but I wish people would sit on their hands sometimes. But they just can't help themselves.
) but she can't celebrate it with her school friends. So, last week she celebrated at school and we had cake and she got a couple of small presents.
