Yesterday was the re-entry day, I was physically sick over it but outwardly at least my daughter was calm
My husband took her in the morning for a brief meet with the HS guidance, and then she was off to classes. As it worked out, yesterday was the first snow fall here and people freaked out!! It wasn't even an inch, and the accidents and mayhem
So the counselor was stuck behind an incident on 75, and was late. BUT all then went well: I picked her up after school, she then went to her regular counsulor for a session and she took it all in stride. No outburst, no drama, just getting it all done. The daughter I know, not the emotionally all over the map daughter.
Plus, the homework got done with no prodding or whinning.
This all is a blessing and I wanted to share the good news. Hopefully we can get to Christmas break, and then finish this grade, with no more major difficulties.
All of you have been a support system that is hard to explain, how can people you have never met hold you up and listen? Just a wonderful reality in the unreality of the internet
Thank you
Kathleen
