I bought tickets last spring and my daughter has since turned 10. Do you think we need to upgrade her ticket before we go in December?

Thanks for any help!

Nobody is going to ask for a birth certificate at the gates, so it is going to have to be a PERSONAL decision and how you feel about it and what your intentions are. I would assume since you asked the question in the first place you aren't trying to take advantage of Disney or anyone else. If you intended to go when she was 9 and postponed the trip or even if just didn't cross your mind at the time of purchase that is very different that buying a child ticket when she was already 10 or something like that.

If your intentions were right at the time of purchase I would chalk this up to lesson learned and remember to purchase tickets based on age at time of travel in the the future...

Back with the No Expire tickets, Disney allowed for a child to age up without needing to upgrade the ticket. Our youngest was a child (8 yo) when we first went with No Expire tickets. We did have to exchange the ticket medium (from paper to plastic) and they just gave us an adult ticket. We still have days and he is 30 yo now.

Point being, I don’t think they will care.
