I called disney on monday and pencilled in my date for 2008 and I am waiting a call back from a sm.
Has anyone done this and then not been able to get their date on the 12 month mark??

I'm worried as I want to book all our flights etc around this date and then hope I get it!! But I was thinking they dont just do one wedding a day so I would have thought maybe I will get one of the times??

Does anyone know what the times are at the wedding pavillion?

Its all september and disney said this was their low season?

We're getting married in November and I called 12 months out to pencil in my date and was told that I had a choice of any location at any time...at that point I was the only person booking that date for any location at any time in all of Disney. I was really worried that I wouldn't get the date that I wanted, but you should be fine.

By the time I sent my contract and my deposit, I was already around 10 months out and had no problems. You should be fine, especially in September which is considered low season...it's a great time to go, the parks can be EMPTY!!

As for times, I'm not sure if the Wedding Pavillion has the same intimate times as the Yacht Club Gazebo where we're getting married, but our choices were, 10am, 12pm, 2:30pm, and 5pm. (I'm a little unsure about the 12pm time, but I think that is right.)

Hope this helps!

this is sept 2008 and we are a custom wedding so does the time differ to intimates then?

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to be calling as soon as my 12 month mark comes anyway to confirm it!!

Yes the times will differ for Customs, but you should still have no problems with getting the date you want that far away.

I am having a custom wedding at the wedding pavillion and the times they gave me where...2:30 p.m, 5:00 p.m, and 7:30 p.m. I'm pretty sure those are the only times they have the custom weddings at the pavillion because I am the only person getting married at the pavillion that day.
As for Disney calling you back, just keep calling until someone talks to you. They are busy but if you let them know you have already called and no one has returned your call, they will try and find someone for you that same day. Good Luck!!!
Amy :)
