dates question??

I need to start booking wiht a checkout date of Dec 5th, can I call today since it is a day off wiht leap year at all or am I calling tomorrow or Sunday for the first day? My first time booking at 11 months. I know there was a place on the DVC member website but I cannot get it work.

It is 11 months from the day, so you call Jan 5th, tomorrow.

The only time that is different is for...say January. If you had a checkout of January 31st, 2009, since Feb has 29 days this year, you would have to wait til Mar 2nd to call.

It is not like ADR's, where is is 180 days, so it gets convoluted.

It took me FOREVER to get that all straight in my head.

Beginning of December is a pretty busy DVC time, so I expect they are getting alot of calls for reservations. I already told DH if anything comes up the week of 1/21 to 1/28, we will just wait and not bother trying to call MS.

I called Accounting yesterday and waited 25 minutes to speak to someone. It was at like 2 pm. I figured I would be waiting, with dues statements arriving.
