I need some advice. We are going to Disneyland in July because we need the warm weather for medical poblems. What are the highs/lows we can expect? Too hot means I am nauseas and out of breath while too cold means my muscles freeze up and I can't drive. My mom gets cold terribly easy (below 80).

2nd question: crowd levels. We want to fit in Space Mountain. Would it be best to have our last day be the 15th? Or should we wait until the last week of the month?

3rd question: How much time should we plan?
This is our tentative plan:

Block Party Bash: Mickey and friends with Surf tunes
Electrical Parade

Block Party Bash: Muppets “Animals House Party”

Block Party Bash: Monsters, inc. disco party at the Golden State Amphitheater.

Paradise Pier

Man Hat ‘n Beach
Block Party Bash: Stitch and a cast of Elvis impersonators crash “Lilo's Luau.”

Other Wheelchair Accessible Rides: Carousel and Sun Wheel at Paradise Pier
Other Fastpass: Mulholland Madness and California Screamin’

Disneyland

The Star Trader

Keep in mind that we are an extremely complicated special needs family. I use an electric wheelchair full time, trach, and 24 hour feeding tube. I take breathing treatments every 2 hours, need suctioned, and have frequent respiratory arrests. My sister also uses an electric wheelchair full-time. My mom uses an electric wheelchair but can walk in the house. My grandma has an enlarged heart, severe arthrtis, and macular degeneration and will be being pushed by my dad in a manual wheelchair rented offsite. We take almost an hour to go to the bathroom (spastic bladders, rotating through one handicap stall) and go an average of every two hours. It takes us 3x the normal amount of time to go on a ride because my mom, my sister, and I have to rotate. Eating takes 1-2 hours and sense I am tube fed via 24 hour pump and can't eat by mouth-counter service or inexpensive sit-down with music, themes, interesting sites nearby would be nice so I can be entertained while they eat. We probably won't get to the park until 10:00-11:00. If I had anything to say about it we would be at the park at opening...but my family says my commando ways make the trip unpleasant soooooo I am going to try to relax-and keeping up with is medically can be exhausting
Knowing this information and our list-how many days do you think we need to enjoy the park at a calm yet not stand still pace? Any particular order of visiting the different areas to cut down on crowds?

Thanks so much! I am in your debt!

Well July will be your best bet for beautiful weather, usually in the mid to high 80s. The weather usually doesn't get above 90 until late Aug. It will get down in to the 60s at night, and it can get damp so it feels colder than that. The most crowded lands at Disneyland will be Fantasyland and Adventureland, so hit those either early in the day or later in the evening. California Adventure will almost always be less crowded than Disneyland.

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln has been shut down for the 50th Anniversary. The space now houses a show honoring Walt Disney. I have not seen it yet, but from what I have heard it is excellent.

In terms of food reccomendations, one of my favorite counter service meals is Ranco del Zocalo in Frontierland. It is beautifully decorated, and at some tables you can see Big Thunder Mountain.

I think that about does it. I hope your family has a wonderful stressfree vacation!

A lot of the attractions you are planning to FP don't offer it. Here are the attractions that currently offer FP:

In DL--
Indiana Jones
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Autopia
Buzz Lightyear
Roger Rabbit
Space Mountain (when it reopens)

In DCA--
Tower of Terror
Soarin' Over CA
Grizzly River
CA Screamin'
Muholland Madness

They took FP off of POTC and HM last summer (HM only has FP for the holiday version) along with the 3-D films in DCA. Some of the others, like It's a Small World, have never offered FP.

Also, I'm expecting Space Mountian to be on soft openings through most of the first part of July (based on what I was hearing on Thursday).
