Dates for the WDW 50th Anniversary Celebration?

Anyone know if there are solid dates for the 50th Anniversary Celebration at WDW in 2021? Definitely want to make a trip down for the celebration which I'm expecting to last around year. Just want to make sure I'm planning my point usage accordingly.

Probably celebrate a full year and a half. Especially if they can upcharge stuff.

Disneyland celebrated their 60th for just less than a year and a half. I believe it started in May 2015 and it ended September 2016. So expect the same for WDW.

We are trying to figure that out as well. Hoping to be able to bring down my siblings, their kids and our parents. Trying to make sure we bank and borrow correctly. Guess we'll have to wait and see so far.

I agree. The 25th went 10/1/1996 to 12/31/1997.

My childrens first time to see castle was when it was decorated as a cake. I woul dlove to see that again but not on the 50th.

I loved that cake castle! Knowing it was temporary made it entirely enjoyable. I wish they would do something like that in the future, but I'm probably in the minority.

I am hoping the celebration starts summer of 21, because that is the same time as my DW turns 50 as well.

I would love to walk in and see that big, gaudy castle! As long as it's temporary, why not?

Did people see that coming, or did they somehow get that up in one night?
