Date Night Choices

I think we will get two date nights on our upcoming trip and I'm debating where to eat:

Shula's
Jiko
Victoria and Alberts
Cooper's Hawk (offsite, but so delicious!)

We haven't eaten at any of these besides Cooper's Hawk as we usually have our little guy with us, but the grandparents will be helping on this trip.

I'm also gluten free, which I think all of these restaurants can accommodate. If only we had 4 date nights! Any faves on this list?

Jiko. One of our favs.

We did V&A once, probably won't return. Food was super good, but atmosphere was a bit formal for us. We knew it going in, so were prepared. But we're just not "get that dressed up" kinda folks. YMMV

From your list, V&A is in a class by itself. We did Chef's Table there a couple of years ago and it was amazing.

From your list, there is nothing even remotely close to what Victoria & Albert's offers. We dined there last month in the Queen Victoria Room and loved the experience. The décor is breath taking, the service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. Whether you do the Chef's Table, QVR or the main dining room, V&A is in a class by itself.

As for the others, I can't speak for Cooper's Hawk but Shula's as far as the food is excellent, but I wouldn't call it romantic or shout at me "date night'. Now Jiko on the other hand is romantic and shouts excellent choice for "date night." The service is excellent, the food is very good, and the décor and atmosphere is very date night.

From your list, we've only eaten at Jiko's - and we absolutely loved it. There are tons of great reviews of V&A on here too.

(I'll just throw in that DH & I have a standing date at Flying Fish every trip...)
