Hello all

I will be bringing my son with autism to Disney the first week in March. It's the first time in 10 years. The last time we came was when they still had the card you used as a fast pass.
Can someone please explain the difference between DAS, Virtual Que and Lightening lane.

I under stand DAS is not guaranteed and Lightening lane is an extra paid fee but how do you use these together. Do you have to get a virtual due for the lightening lane or is that like the old fast pass lane when you just come back.
How do all three work?

Thank you

Belle

Each is separate but can be used together.

DAS is for those with qualifying disability needs. When you last visited this may have been called GAC or it was the early version of DAS when you got a Return Time at each attraction to come back and enter the FP line (now LL).

Virtual queue is available to all guests. It’s free but only 2 attractions are currently using VQ — Guardians of the Galaxy and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain). You try for it at 7am on your park day but they go very quickly; another chance at 1pm as long as you have entered the park before then. If staying at a deluxe resort and it’s an Extra Evening Hours day there is a 3rd chance at 6pm.

Lightning Lane is the former FastPass. It is now a paid option and comes in 3 forms:
* Multi-Pass allows you to pre-book 3 attractions 7 days in advance of your trip if staying on-site (or 3 days if off-site). Then you can select another attraction on a rolling basis as you use each, pending availability. Not all attractions are included.
* Single Pass you can purchase (in advanced like MP) access to the LL for 1 or 2 attractions per day. These tend to be the most popular attractions at each park.
* Premier Pass is only available to guests staying on-site. It allows access to all LL attractions in a given park for a day, once each attraction.

THIS THREAD is pinned up above and has info about the latest version of DAS, which were announced last spring and rolled out this past summer, and explanation of some of the new/other accommodations available. The biggest change to note is qualifying for DAS -- it's now very limited.

THIS THREAD on the TPAS Forum has info about the VQs. It's a long thread but the first post is kept up-to-date and the last few pages would be the most recent reports.

THIS THREAD on the TPAS Forum discusses the LLMP/LLSP. My understanding is that a summary post hasn't been created yet, but I don't think much if anything has really changed from the roll-out in the summer so the initial info should still be accurate. The most recent experiences are in the last few pages.

THIS THREAD on the TPAS Forum discusses the new LLPP. It's still quite new having only launched in late October. The only change since roll-out is that LLPP is now available to all guests with an on-site WDW resort stay, not just those at deluxe resorts. LLPP is not available to guests staying off-site.

Feel free to ask any questions you have as you plan!

Lanejudy, so nice of you to put this together. All this is confusing enough without even knowing where to look.
