DAS & Rise of the Resistance

Now that boarding groups are no longer used on RotR, how does DAS work for it? By foregoing the regular queue, are you going to miss out on anything pertinent? I know there are things to see in the queue, but does skipping it diminish the ride?

Without the Virtual queue/Boarding group, there is a Standby wait line. You can get a DAS Return Time the same as any other attraction.
Disney has indicated it‘s possible that virtual queue could be restarted if it becomes busy again. If that happens, it would show up on My Disney Experience as a Virtual queue you could join.
