Just back. Summer weather is fickle and a lot of the rides we had return times for were shut down for lightning by the time it was our turn.
It was the last day of our trip when someone at guest relations told me that these DAS passes should be automatically becoming Any Attraction passes in the app when the ride is down.
They never did. Not once. If you're going soon and this happens to you, you have to go to the (closed) attraction and get a paper recovery pass to use later OR maybe guest relations could reassign your DAS pass to an immediate return at a different ride. It made a huge impact on our trip- DD would wait 100 minutes for Space, for example, it would get shut down, and lines for the rest of the park were long so we just left, not utilizing DAS at all. We wasted a DAS return probably a dozen times because of weather.
The guest services person said she'd report that the DAS returns aren't converting to IT, but I'm sure we aren't high up on the list of priorities. I'm also using Android, maybe that made a difference. Anyway hope this helps someone.
