DAS registration question

Hi guys - this may be a dumb question, but how long does it take to connect for the DAS interview? The side screen has been "loading" for over an hour and I am not sure if I should try a different method or what. Thanks for any guidance you can offer!

I don’t believe there’s a set time. I have gotten through in a few is 10 minutes and a few weeks ago it took two hours for the video chat to begin.

Quick update - I was able to do it at Guest Services in Magic Kingdom with their iPad. Super easy and very similar to former process where the cast member at the desk would give it out. The person I had on video chat did tell me that if you are using Disney park internet, you get through faster than someone at home, so FYI.

Quick update - I was able to do it at Guest Services in Magic Kingdom with their iPad. Super easy and very similar to former process where the cast member at the desk would give it out. When the video call took place, were you placed in a room that provided any type of privacy? I realize you are not disclosing HIPAA information but just curious.

From what I have seen no but they do give headphones to use

It wouldn’t matter because HIPAA doesn’t apply. First, because you yourself are disclosing your own information and second, Disney is not a covered entity as it pertains to HIPAA. Briefly, “HIPAA applies to health plans, healthcare clearing houses and healthcare providers that transmit information electronically in connection with a transaction for which HHS has published standards.”

It is the same as before no one pay attention they are too busy doing there own thing. It actually might be more privet since they now only hear what you are saying and not what the CM says
