My husband is a 100%/permanently disabled veteran with TBI and PTSD. Sometimes he has difficulty waiting in crowded lines. Last year on our trip many times he had to step out of line and allow our daughters and I to ride without him because he could no longer take waiting in a crowded confined space. Based on this would he qualify for a DAS and do we need to bring his VA Letter stating his disability?

The CM will not read dr letters. You will it he will need to go to GR and talk to them about his needs as they do with waiting in line and go from there about what the CM will do. I find that having things to help my self ( noises bother me so I bring ear protector and other things) work best along with a DAS also I take a lot of breaks

Since you have experience from last year, you can draw on that when requesting aDAS. I suggest you/he explain exactly what made the lines difficult for him last trip. No note needed.

Enjoy your vacation!

I would explain pretty much what you said above and one would think he would get the DAS although there are no guarantees.

Your DH is a perfect candidate for the DAS. Exactly what is is designed for. Don't stress about it, it's easy and painless.
